This comparison ended up closer than we expected.

Bear markets the Elite heavily around cooling technology, including copper-infused foam and a Celliant® cover. However, during our testing, the mattress didn’t feel noticeably cool to the touch. It remained temperature neutral throughout the night, but we didn’t experience the icy sensation some shoppers expect.

The DreamCloud Premier on the other hand had deeper compression (approximately 4.5 inches) when sitting on the edge. Initially, this gave the impression of weaker edge support. However, once we lay near the perimeter, the mattress felt much more stable. The reinforced coil system prevented excessive sinkage while sleeping, allowing us to comfortably use nearly the full surface of the mattress.
